#003 // Love Nine – The Secret

Artist: Love Nine
Title: The Secret
Cat-N°: TF003
Format: Digital/Vinyl
Releasedate: October 2007

Licensed to the next body language volume 6 mixed by junior boys on Get Physical. Oldschool at its best. The third release on Two Faces introduces Love Nine (London/UK). The EP starts up with Feedback, a wicked monster track with a jacking groove, frequency modulated sounds and an inspiring oldschool touch. The flipside starts with the Detroit Mix of Feedback, which puts a little bit more of a relaxing touch to the track with its deep Detroit styled chords. Gadget Shot on B2 is a groovy house tune with laidback chord sequences and a moody bassline. Just like a fresh and summerly breeze.

BIGSHOT MAGAZINE (USA): “For fans of the old-school techno sound of yesteryear, this EP will fit well in your record box. The EP begins with a chord-laden track that has interesting modulation points and a subtle shaker-like percussion thing going on. The following track is a Detroit remix of the original, with even more chords and pads and a bit more era correct impression. The saving grace is the third track, “Gadget Shot”, which is a bit more progressive, has a very smooth mix and fall along the lines of some of the current peak Berlin tunes. Praxis”

Christo (Plasteline): “ Alle drei werden gespielt. ”

Dave Dk (Moodmusic): “ “Here the B side does the trick for me! Especially B1 is a prime time track, really nice classic chords, love it! B2 is a nice summer feel track, more minimal, in my box, too!” ”

Flash Brothers: “We like Gadget Shot – Nice melodic deep tech house track! Well produced.”

Holger Brauns (Dimmer): “ Gadget Shot ist super. Positiv, zappelig, verspielt, meins. 8/10.”

John Acquaviva: “The Detroit Mix of Feedback is good. ”

Karotte (Cocoon): “b2 gadget shot ist klasse. sehr oldshool english house. erinnert mich an 93 – 95. genau mein ding. back to the old shool!!!”

Laurent Garnier (F-Com): “love the detroit mix deep techno just the way i like it will definitely play it out”
